Lawn Care

Below are the applications for an entire season, along with the benefits of each one.
For optimum results, consecutive applications are recommended.
We can customize a program to fit your needs and budget.

Early Season:

Balanced fertilizer is applied to stimulate new growth and aid in recovering from winter stress. Weed control is applied as weeds become present. Pre-emergent will be added at the correct time for annual grasses, such as crabgrass and foxtail.

Spring:

Dandelions and other existing weeds are controlled at this time. Fertilizer is applied to improve your lawn’s color and density. Pre-emergent will also be included.

Early Summer:

Liquid or dry fertilizer helps in preparation for summer stress. Broadleaf weed control will also be applied for existing weeds, such as creeping jenny and thistle. Iron may be included to enhance color.

Late Summer:

We continue to care for your lawn by applying liquid or dry fertilizer and weed control, as needed. Iron may also be included. Problems such as insects or disease may arise; your lawn technician will keep you informed.

Fall:

Fall is a great time to continue controlling existing weeds, like creeping jenny or dandelions. The fertilizer aides in recovery from summer stress and promote root growth.

Winterizer:

The balanced fertilizer will help promote root growth and the nutrients important for your lawn’s winter survival. This application will also assist your lawn incoming out of dormancy the following spring.

Aeration (Spring or Fall):

The removal of cores from the lawn helps relieve compaction and allows air, water, and nutrients to reach the root system more easily. This is recommended annually to maintain a healthy thatch layer.

In addition to our full program, watering and proper mowing techniques are essential to having a greener, healthier, more weed-free lawn.
